Majdi FRIHI

Majdi Frihi is the Project Lead for the Béni Khalled operation and for the SDG Localization Partnership Platform on behalf of UN-Habitat Tunisia.

An engineer by training, he specializes in topography and hydraulic engineering. He graduated from the École Supérieure des Ingénieurs de l'Équipement Rural de Medjez El Bab (Tunisia) in 2004 and later obtained a degree in urban planning from the Institut Supérieur de Construction et d'Urbanisme in 2007.

He joined the UN agency in December 2019 as a Project Coordinator, following his experience at the Ministère de l'Équipement, de l'Habitat et de l'Aménagement du Territoire (Tunisie) and with a Dutch association in Tripoli.

His work focuses primarily on local economic development, municipal waste management and valorization, and the implementation of development projects.
