JDID, Milestone 2: Towards Affordable and Sustainable Housing in Tunis

Launched in 2023 and concluded in January 2025, Milestone 2 of the JDID project addressed housing, living conditions and access to services in the El Agba 1 residential complex, with the aim of producing insights and recommendations for El Agba 2, the adjacent development currently being designed.

After a year of academic work and an intensive 10-day workshop, architecture, civil engineering and urban planning students from ENAU, ISTEUB and EUP produced a participatory socio-urban analysis of the Cité Waha in El Agba 1. Their findings were presented publicly at ISTEUB on 12 December 2024.
