Olfa BEN MEDIEN

Olfa Ben Medien has been Director of Studies and Internships at ISTEUB since 2021, after serving as Assistant Professor at the same institution and Head of the Urban Planning Department from 2008 to 2014.

An architect and urban planner, she graduated from the École Nationale d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme (ENAU) in 2000, holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Regional Development (2003), and earned her PhD in Urban Planning from ENAU – University of Carthage, Tunis in 2017.

Olfa is also President of the Africa–Middle East section of APERAU International and serves as a consultant for NGOs and public institutions on inclusive and sustainable cities as well as participatory urban planning.

She has supervised several JDID workshops and participated in the doctoral seminar of Lab’Urba.
