Saloua Ferjani has been an Assistant Professor (Maître-Assistante) and holder of an HDR (Accreditation to Supervise Research) at the École Nationale d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme (ENAU) since 2012.
An architect by training and holder of a DEA in Urban Planning, she specializes in public squares; her doctoral thesis focused on their role during the Protectorate period.
She previously served at the Ministry of Equipment and Housing of Tunisia, where she successively held the positions of Head of Urban Planning Service, Deputy Director of Subdivisions, and Unit Monitoring Director.
Her academic career began as a lecturer at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies in Urban Planning (ISTEUB), also affiliated with the University of Carthage.
She has taken part in numerous activities of the Chair, most recently supervising the doctoral seminar conducted by Lab’Urba.
She also serves as the ENAU Project Lead for the JDID initiative.
